I don’t have a lot of experience with entertainment education, but I do work in the community with young people (primarily African American youth) who ultimately look to entertainment / media for information and influence. I have used international videos which had other cultures represented in the message with the youth that I serve. I’m not sure if the intended message had a “great” impact but it did grab the youth’s attention to ask questions, start group discussions, and have great dialogue.
